For general contractors

Every Subcontractor on the Job, Trained and on File

Set up a project for each job site, invite your subcontractors, and require the trainings and documents you need. You see each sub’s status on the project. Subs join that project free.

How it works

  1. 1

    Turn on projects

A company admin turns on “We’re a general contractor” in company settings.

  2. 2

    Create a project

One per job site: its name, address and dates, and what you require from every sub on it.

  3. 3

    Invite your subcontractors

Each sub’s owner or admin gets an email to open the project. The sub is its own company in the app and adds its own crew.

  4. 4

    Track each sub’s status

Subs complete your required trainings and upload the documents you asked for. You see where each one stands, and can export the project as a spreadsheet or a PDF report.

Requirements

What you can require from each sub

Set the requirements once on the project; every sub you invite to it sees the same list and works through it.

Each sub shows as

  • On track
  • Needs attention
  • Waiting to accept
Trainings
Tailgate talks from the shared library that each sub’s crew must sign for this project.
Checklists
Library checklists the sub fills in at least once for the project.
Written programs
IIPP, heat illness prevention plan, workplace violence prevention plan, or another written program you name.
Proof of insurance
A certificate of insurance (COI) with its expiry date. A certificate expiring within 30 days is flagged.

Each company keeps its own records

What you see of a sub, and what you don’t

You see, for this project

  • The sub’s name and contact
  • The crew it listed for the project
  • The trainings it held for the project: topic, date and who signed
  • The checklists and documents it shared to the project

You don’t see

  • The sub’s other records, on other jobs or in its own program
  • Anything after the project closes or the sub is removed: its access to the project ends
